The 70's adorned our runways from Spring to Fall and one of it's biggest trends was the sleek "Skinny Scarf." It appeared on fashion's most influential runways from Chloe to Prada. The best thing about the Skinny Scarf is how versatile it is. The Skinny Scarf adds a carefree and effortless look while appearing chic and elegant. It is a perfect accessory for this time of year because of its lightweight feel. Its versatility allows it to be worn with a T-shirt as well as a button down shirt perfecting your professional look. The scarf has been around for many many years. It can be traced back to antiquity. I have always been a fan of scarves due to its classic look so I am pretty excited that the Skinny Scarf is Falls' biggest trend. It takes the place of the statement necklace.
7 DIFFERENT WAYS TO WEAR
THE SKINNY SCARF
I will be saving money with this trend because I own about 30 scarves; 5 of which are skinny. I told you I have been rocking scarves all my life. Trends may come and go but scarves is one I will never get rid of. Scarves are the epitome of classic style. Will you be rocking this skinny trend?

It is going to be a sparkly FALL, WINTER AND SPRING 2016. By that I mean, the glittery shoe. I was never a huge fan of glitter shoes but they have certainly grown on me. I actually purchased a pair last year from Zara and still love them. They are a little more subtle than the glitter shoes the designers have been putting out for 2015/2016 but I am ready to embark in this sparkly world of fashion. With that being said, I have picked some of the best and fun Glitter shoes that can be worn with your dressy trends as well as your casual trends. I think this season I will be wearing my glitter shoes with jeans. I have always worn my sparkly shoes with a dressier look but I am really loving the glitter and jeans combo. You can also express your sparkle with glitter pants. This look I don't think I would like on me but I love the one I picked for my fashionistas to try (seen under "dressing up any outfit with glitter).
Which shoe will you be wearing to Sparkle up your outfit? Can you guess which ones I will be adding to my shoe collection?

One last tip, if you don't own any glitter in your life and you would like to introduce it to your wardrobe with something a little more subtle, try adding a small handbag to your outfit. It will definitely make a great statement piece and add just enough sparkly in your life....

I hope you like the color Mustard or Oak Buff (Pantone's Color) because this fall it is just as popular as the color of the year Marsala. The great thing about mustard is that it can be paired up with many beautiful colors. Here are Fall's 2015 Color Combos that can help you with your Mustard Fall Look!

While I have touched on the subject of Print on Print in the past, I have to share my love for this trend again with three basic tips. When it comes to combining materials and patterns, one of the designers that does it so well is Mary Katrantzou. Her combinations flow so beautifully. The number rule for mixing prints are to match the colors first. Secondly, choose patterns that aren't so complicated. Although Mary Katrantzou chooses fabrics that are vibrant, if it is your first time trying to master the print on print, black and white stripe are a safe way to go; it goes with everything. If you are still hesitant, take two prints and pair it up with a solid piece. For example throw a solid blazer over the printed outfit or wear a printed jacket and trouser over a solid shirt. There are multiple ways you can rock the print on print look. Find your comfort level. If you're like me, I love experimenting with all kinds of prints even wearing the same print on top as the bottom. This is a very bold look and not every one is on board with a 2-piece matching print, but many designers have mastered it. Here are some of Mary Katrantzou's looks from here 2015 Resort Collection to help guide you on what is the perfect combo!
You can also try introducing this look with a dress from Anthropologie. These fun dresses have the mixed pattern design and could be an easier way to transition into this Print on Print Trend. The dresses can easily work for day and transform into night. So have fun ladies and show me your combo styles!
It is August and Fall is around the corner. Around this time I usually revisit the Fall trends from Fashion Week and familiarize myself with the must have trends. During my visit, Miu Miu Shoe collection caught my eye again. This fall collection has a 60s vibe. I love all things vintage; whether it be clothes, shoes or even furniture. I can't get enough of these shoes. So I decided to put them all on display below for you to see what the big hipe is all about.
If you want to make a fabulous outfit even more fabulous, Sling a Jacket on your Shoulders. This on-going trend will not only bring your outfit to a new level but it will surely make an impression wherever you go. The great thing about this trend is that it can be worn with pants, skirts, dresses, shorts, you name it! Make sure the jacket fits totally over your shoulders or it could make you look larger and that's not the look we are going for. Long and short jackets can carry this amazing trend. I have to admit; I love this trend. If you haven't tried the print on print ensemble, this is a great way to introduce it to your wardrobe. Below I feature a stripe skirt paired up with a floral jacket and a pair of pants with a circle print paired up with a leopard jacket. Now normally when trying to wear print on print I have suggested in the past that there should be a color on both pieces that match or at least the patterns should match using different colors. That still is a good rule to follow but when putting your jacket over your shoulder, I say all bets are off. Have fun with it! If you still don't think you can pull off the print on print, another idea would be to wear a printed top and matching printed bottom but with a solid jacket on top. This will focus the attention towards the jacket moreso that your printed outfit. This ensemble is displayed in the slideshow along with other amazing looks. Start off the look with a light blazer over the shoulder and see how you like it before you graduate to a full length jacket. I love all the looks and will definitely be SLINGING MY COAT this season.

HOW TO WEAR THE LATEST JEAN TRENDS
Jeans are always on trend; but might come in different styles. It is the easiest go-to piece of clothing one can own. The difference in this year's trend is that there are multiple styles that are hot in 2015/2016. What I love most about Jeans is that they look great with sneakers as wells as heels. You can pair it up with a tuxedo jacket, crisp white blouse and a pair of heels and instantly the outfit becomes quite chic. For a more casual look, pair the jeans with a t-shirt (a must-have this season) and a pair of pointie flats or luxe sneakers. The accessories can also add a touch of dress-up to that white t-shirt. To really mix it up, wear sneakers with a blazer for a not so casual look and not so dressy look. There are so many types of Jeans that you can Sport this season. Which one will you Rock?
Here are some of the best pairings for this seasons Jean Looks!

I am obsessed with this collection. Everyone who knows me, knows I love a CLASSIC VINTAGE LOOK whether it is in my closet or a piece of furniture. The collection is what I call MULTI-CLASSIC. Meaning there is a pairing of multiple pieces among prints and different materials. I love that PRADA takes these risk with their collection. I am always searching for looks that are out of the box but still maintain its beauty. As for the shoes, how gorgeous are they? Several years ago I came across a Fashion Find. They were a pair of vintage shoes which I only paid $5 for. I have only used them once and they are stored in their original box because of their satin finish. I think I can take them out this fall and wear them with one of PRADA's looks. See for yourself!
Oh MARSALA, how I love thee. Pantone 2015 color of year. This might be one of the most versatile hues to date. With its rich tones of brownish red, it is a color that looks great on all skin tones and can be worn by both men and women. It's versatility is endless. It makes a statement on its own and plays as a great accent color to multiple hues.
The Pantone MARSALA got its name from Italy's most famous fortified wine, produced in a little town in Sicily also called Marsala.
MARSALA easily carries over to beauty, fashion, and home decor.
Have fun with MARSALA; for she is.......
